About Me.
I'm Jacob Hoerhold, a freelance filmmaker based in southern New Hampshire. I earned my Bachelor of Arts from Emerson College as part of the 2021 graduating year, and have been working freelance ever since.

I have a passion for storytelling and strive to portray the stories of others through my expertise in Visual Media Arts.

I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree from Emerson College with a 3.44 GPA. Some of my prominent coursework featured Advanced Video Editing, Audio Production, and Color Correction. I worked hands-on with 16mm film reels, and received certification with Avid Media Composer.

I found my passion for filmmaking in high school, taking Video Production classes ever since my sophomore year. I worked with contacts in the industry thanks to my teachers, and was eventually hired by the school for various editing positions during my senior year.

I have been commissioned to edit together all sorts of personal projects ever since I was in high school, and I began to do work for more professional clients while I was a student at Emerson College, and have been taking freelance jobs ever since I graduated.

I worked regularly as the editor for the "Authors in Audio" podcast by Karen Stivali and Santino Hassell, which served as my first experience with long-term employment that required a consistent weekly work schedule to have each episode finished in a timely manner to meet deadlines.

During my time at Souhegan High School, the local school district approached me with various paid opportunities to work for them as a video editor. I made farewell retirement videos, Freshmen Orientation presentations, and spent my Senior year making an episodic docu-series on my school's education system.
